An exciting opportunity exists for a graduate to help lead HYT’s award-winning work in Uganda.
Haileybury Youth Trust [HYT] seeks an Assistant Country Manager to help lead its operations in Uganda. This OH graduate will succeed Ed Brett after nearly five years’ outstanding work. The successful person will be committed to HYT’s work in sustainable development (www.HYTUganda.com) in East Africa.. They will be highly competent digitally, articulate, confident and resilient and have an interest in HYT’s approach to climate-friendly building technology. The role may, however, reflect particular enthusiasms, for example conservation, humanitarian relief, ESG, engineering or business development. Any degree and recent experience will be considered.
Uganda is a wonderful country in which to live and work; the role offers considerable autonomy and scope, while there are enormous opportunities for getting to know one of Africa’s great countries and to develop a career.
This is a paid post with an initial two year contract, beginning in the summer. Accommodation may be available.
