In Bidi Bidi, one of the biggest blessings of rainwater harvesting is that it helps protect us from waterborne diseases. Before, many of us had to depend on streams and boreholes for water, and those sources often carried diseases that made people sick. But now, by collecting and storing rainwater, we have cleaner, safer water to drink. This makes a huge difference for our health, reducing the chances of illnesses like cholera and typhoid. It’s a relief to know our students can drink water without fear of getting sick, allowing them to spend more time in school.
