Philip’s years of experience with the Trust makes him a highly respected practitioner in compressed earth construction.
Fred Koire (Training Manager) Freddo
Freddo is responsible for the Trust’s training programmes, particularly through the outstandingly successful One Village at a Time projects, which he leads. Fred shares his skills and experience with our trainees who then proceed to construct fine school buildings and water tanks in their own communities. Freddo’s talent as a trainer and teacher is rare indeed.
JohnnyJohn Nsubuga (Projects Manager)
John, a real artisan, was himself a graduate trainee. He now looks after HYT’s construction projects, as part of the Trust’s social enterprise activity. Johnny takes great pride in his work, building skilful and hard-working teams which in turn construct many outstanding structures – on time and in budget. Not bad for a builder!
